The CRM CSV Scrubber

Sanitize, normalize, and split messy contact exports directly in your browser before you import them into HubSpot, Salesforce, or your email sequencer. Splits combined full names, normalizes phone numbers and domains, strips title noise, standardizes states, and purges duplicate rows. Zero data ever leaves your device.

What it cannot do

Clean syntax is not verified data

This tool fixes structure, formatting, capitalization, and syntax. It separates Dr. John Smith into John and Smith, strips tracking query parameters from website URLs, and normalizes phone numbers to standard national format.

What it cannot do is verify whether an email address has a live MX record, whether a phone number is disconnected, or whether someone still works at the company listed on their row. It catches formatting errors before they corrupt your CRM, but verification of personhood still belongs to live enrichment providers.

The series

One small tool a day

Every build gets a write-up in the Library: what it does, why it exists, what I decided not to put in it, and what it took to make. Free to use, nothing to sign up for.
