A person points at a laptop showing 16 partner app icons and an always-on agent linked to a half-full ChatGPT meter.

Sixteen tools can now spend your ChatGPT allowance

OpenAI spent Tuesday announcing more than twenty things. Two of them change what your subscription is: sixteen partner products can now draw on your ChatGPT allowance, and an always-on agent draws on it too. The same plan holds half as much from October 30.

A person watches an AI agent halve a task’s price and enter a government portal without touching the keyboard.

AI News

Half the price, and now it wants a login

In four days the cost of having an AI do a unit of work fell by roughly half at two labs, Amazon opened its seller platform to outside agents, and Salesforce said the AI is replacing its interface. Unconfigured stops meaning off on October 22

GitHub added a dropdown to Copilot admin settings on Thursday that does nothing for 28 days. On October 22 it decides whether every Copilot feature nobody at your company ever ruled on is switched on, and GitHub's own documentation says the dropdown already sits on enabled.

Office worker views a Google Workspace webhook branching to four apps beside a Zapier screen showing plan pricing and task count.

AI News

Your email subscription just grew a webhook

Zapier puts webhooks behind its $19.99 Professional plan and counts every step your automation takes against a task allowance. On Monday the same outbound webhook, plus connectors to HubSpot, QuickBooks, Salesforce and Slack, started showing up inside Google Workspace with no second bill and no meter. The tier that can restrict where those webhooks point is not the tier most small businesses are on.

Six sales team members watch HubSpot update their CRM while a dashboard shows incomplete deal data; no one types.

AI News

Nobody types the deal update now

Seven hours a week per seller go into keeping the CRM current, which across a six-person team is a full-time salary paid out in slices. HubSpot moved that job into the platform on Wednesday, and shipped something alongside it that will matter more in a year: a score that grades how incomplete your data is.
