A meeting recorder sends speech through messy pages to a clean transcript with “um” and “uh” removed.

AI News

The transcript nobody has to clean up

Ten people on Otter's Business tier runs $3,600 a year, and getting those transcripts out through an API means talking to sales. Google put a speech-to-text model in its own API on Wednesday at roughly thirty cents an hour of audio that hands back text with the ums already gone. The bill it deletes is the cleanup pass, not the seat.

Two workers clean CRM cards as one releases the February brake, moving 3,000 records past automation.

OpenWorker and the draft you still have to finish

Microsoft 365 Copilot runs $18 a user a month on an annual commitment, on top of the Microsoft 365 licence you already pay for, and what it hands back is a draft somebody still has to open and finish. OpenWorker is an MIT-licensed desktop app that connects to the same inbox, calendar and CRM and is built around finishing the job instead.

On Wednesday OpenAI announced it is building the machinery specifically so it never has to ask you for that trade. Which vendor holds your client files, and for how long, is now something you can look up before you build.

Diagram Design and the slide you never made

Ten people who need to make a diagram costs $2,400 a year on Miro's Business tier, and most of those diagrams never get made anyway. Diagram Design is an MIT-licensed skill that draws them inside the coding agent you already pay for, and it went past 22,000 stars in a week.
